It’s only been 9 months since my last update — whoopsies!
First came Halloween.
Then came Thanksgiving.
Then came Christmas in the hos-pit-al!
Davis had the audacity to turn FIVE YEARS OLD in April and he graduated from pre-k in May. He’s so excited and nervous for kinder. We are still a good two months out and last week on the way to daycare, he told me “I hope I don’t spill my milk at lunch in kindergarten.” He’s a builder, an artist, a perfectionist, a rule-follower, and above all else, a Darth Vader enthusiast. He doesn’t understand why anyone would want to kill a cricket and he would swim every day if we let him. He absolutely hates being cold and frequently uses the phrase “You’ve gotta be kidding me” (sometimes with a palm-to-face).
Blair Bear turned 2 years old in February and has been an overachiever when it comes to that whole Terrible Two’s thing. Am I allowed to say that in her baby book? She’s a momma’s girl, a lover of music, a rule-breaker, and a passionate singer/dancer. She’s full of sass and loves pinching chins (preferably those with facial hair) while whispering “wishywishywishywishy”. — We’re not exactly sure why, but we think it has something to do with cute aggression. She’s saying so many words, her favorite of which is “no”. She can drink a gallon of milk in less than a week and will throw the closest object across the room when she’s mad.
