My kid decided to turn 11 months old. How rude! We don’t have the heart to tell him he doesn’t fit in that wagon anymore. He also decided to start walking today…on his 11 month birthday. We are proud and sad all at the same time.
We took Davis bowling for the first time in his life. He loved that air blower thing.
He did NOT love when mommy took her turn to bowl. I am fairly certain that he just didn’t want me to be embarrassed by getting dead last like I normally do. So every time I would throw the bowling ball, he would start BAWLING. He eventually started doing it when Dan did too. He was completely fine when our friends took their turns though. Did he feel bad for the pins? It was like he was watching us all do something bad but only cried when his own parents partook because he holds us to a higher standard. Like any good parents, we made it up to him. In arcade games.
He’s been practicing some ninja moves to show everyone at his birthday.
We took this adorable picture below on Sunday right before we met up with a realtor to look at some houses. A few hours later we had a contract on an awesome house? They accepted our offer yesterday…sooo assuming the inspection and appraisal go well, we plan to close on our first house the last week of March. Do I need to point out that the last week of March is a week before D’s party? It’s fine. It’ll all be fine.
Mimi sent Davis a whoopee cushion in the mail. This is how he thinks you blow it up:
I apologize for all of the pictures and videos I post of my cats. (We’re called cat ladies for a reason.) But seriously…how many cats put up with this stuff without striking back?!
Here are some more adorable pictures of our 11 month old not-so-baby-anymore.
