This is the best family picture we got on Christmas day. It’s also one of the many reasons we didn’t send out a Christmas card. Dan is trying to keep D’s hands out of his mouth so he’s yelling and I’m not really sure who Dan is looking at. And there is a nerdy little glare on my glasses. Merry Christmas from the Wasons.
He was the first one to wake up on Christmas morning. He was also the first one to wake up every other day. Everyone woke up about the time that he was ready for his morning nap. Here is a picture of him looking for Santa Christmas morning.
Christmas was so fun with all of the babies. It was also overwhelming, exhausting and a little stressful. It’s not easy to coordinate naps, outings, traveling, pictures, play time, etc. with so many babes in the same house with such a loud family. 🙂
He loved spending time with his grandparents and cousins. He also got to meet some family for the first time. I think they liked him. I took approximately 300 pictures and videos but here are a few. His Memaw Wason taught him a new trick in the video below.
We also went on a date for the first time in 8 months! Marmi offered to babysit so we thought we would go grab a drink or catch a movie after we put him down to bed at 8. He knew we were planning something. He would NOT go to bed. Hahaha. We finally gave up and left his sleepy self playing with Marmi, Cool Pop, Scarlett and Lavanda. We didn’t have time to really plan a date night out which is probably why we ended up at Target buying me some tampons. Don’t worry…we also had an appetizer and a drink at Chuy’s where we discussed 1. D’s sleeping habits 2. D’s sore on his mouth and 3. the new tricks he’s learned this week. We are obsessed and we don’t care who knows it.
And lastly, Davis met the beach for the first time. He watched the waves and sang while we walked along the beach.
