7 months and counting

My Grammy thought she had cancer when she became pregnant with my Dad. She was 40 years old and was experiencing so many strange symptoms. When she found out she was just pregnant, she called him her cancer baby (hahaha). His birth was such an unexpected joy that she had a birthday party every month for the first year of his life! I wish I was that awesome but a blog post is better than nothing, right?

This has been a fun month. Davis is on the move! He’s army crawling and almost real crawling. He’s been scooting and rolling around for a couple of months but now this is the norm:

He’s still pretty bored with his toys. He prefers remote controls, phones, cooking utensils, etc. The other day, Dan remembered that we have an old tv remote that he could play with.  He was not impressed. He wants the one that works. Look closely to see if you can figure out what “toy” this is:

He’s been giving really good hugs, saying “Hi” in a country accent, spitting, hates all fruit, is growing more hair and can totally drink water hands free.

And here he is with his BFF’s Dex and Rose on election night. Happy 7 months bud!

    Hahahahahahaha…is that a tampon??? I can’t believe he’s already mobile. What a little genius.

What?! Every single one of his toys, Charlee loves also. Including tampons. She’s also completely disinterested in anything “baby”. They should hang out. I’ll bring a box.
